hey how many watts are you guys running them at? I just got one side in and I put 300rms to it and crossed over at 80hz it seems to make popping noise out of the woofer when bass hits. I had to lower the gain on them to make them stop.

i had infinity perfects before the pros .. but my friend was willing to buy them off me so i could upgrade .. they sound much better the infinitys .. get louder thats for sure.. im givin them 150-175 each .. works rather nicely .. i think 300 is way too much if anyeone is doing that ..

i dont know if they are getting exactly 300watts, but i havnt seen any popping yet, i crossed them at 50hz pretty loud and they were moving but no popping

hmm... would no sounddeadening cause this? Would sounddeadening make the speakers handle more power without distorting?

could, depends on the type of crossover too, 12db 24db, would let more through or not

do you guys know how to bi-amp a set of comps....do you just hook up the tweets to 1 crossover, and the mids to the other????

also,...you said they give some good midbass....does your rear view mirror shake with just your midbass..because i have never heard a good set of mids really, and now i have these mbq's...i turned up the bass a lot on them, and they really didnt make much bass....haha, i dont know if im just expecting to much or what.
