so i definately want to go 15's but 18s are not totally ruled out. im just trying to figure how many lvl 5's i need? so i have more than 10000rms fully available and 6 deka 9a31's, 2 kinetik 1400's ho alt, so electric is good. so finally, i m really only concerned right now with pushing 7-8000rms for now. so what can handle that? im open to lvl 5's and lvl4xl w/lvl 5 softparts.

Can 4 lvl4xl's take the rms daily?

can 3 lvl 5's take the rms daily?

and what would you do?

i believe 3 XLs would be the better choice. so at 10k each sub will see around 3k (after rise and voltage drop). the XL's have been known to outperform the level 5 at that much power. now if each sub was seeing 5k+ then id say you need level 5s.

oops, i just read you said 4 XL's. well they will definitely take that power lol.
