Premier Shallow mounts ****

Get the Kicker CVT's, subwoofers sound great in sealed and can soak up some power. I am actually running them temporally off of the AQ 2200d in my signature till BJ finishes building the box.

And I can't really hear an audible difference in response and output then my old ported 15" Fi Q(which would explain why I'm going with the two 12" Fi Q's now). validility.

But yeah, the CVTs sound really good.

A quick search on here could have told you that. Better off going with a couple good 8s. Small depth, small space requirements, and you can make up for cone area with multiple drivers.

I didn't buy them and I have absolutely intention on even thinking about buying them. I'm just disappointed that pioneer can't do better. Hell I wouldn't even recommend them to my worst enemy.

They were an early entry in the shallow sub market. We're only starting to see GOOD shallow mounts now, with the JL TW5 coming out. The Critical Mass Performance series and the Exile Xtec have been out for a while, but you don't see much of those around. The new SI BM should be a nice entry as well.

I don't really take interest in shallow mounts. Even though that what I got as rear mids right now.

I wasn't that pleased with the shallow mount sealed...I never tried it ported...I bought the high dollar Pioneer pre fab shallow box...also...the bastard was 1/2 inch to long to fit under my tundra rear seat for temp use //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Meh, they have their place. It's not uncommon for new technology to take a couple tries before they get it right. Especially when you consider the fact that they are trying to work around pretty solid physics laws.

I don't fool with power saws too **** dagerous.....though I own many including a panel saw a12" table saw and multiple other electric saws sanders and routers.... ....I use to have a friend that helped me build the box designs I drew up...but I don't see him any more...last box he built was the dual 15 box for my baged Xtreme Blazer that I posted pics of....

For sure, Even though the shallows i have hit surprisingly hard. And the guy who sold them to me bought them at a pawn shop ten years ago. so i'm assuming these are from the early to mid 90's. Cause I don't think mtx was around in the 80's. But I could be mistaken.

Come on ya wuss. It's probably more dangerous working at walmart in Louisiana. Some redneck could shoot you any day for not letting him return his half-eaten candy bar because he got full.
