Premier 2000spl help... PLEASE

Hey, I have 2 12' Premier 2000spl's wired at 2ohm and wired parallel so its a 1ohm load going into my amp. Which the amp is 1ohm stable its the new T1001BD and my low pass is at about 70hz and the gain set at about half bottoms out the subs. The amp at 1ohm rms is 1300 but the subs rms each is 750. Why are they bottoming out? My gain is at about 1/4 up at 1ohm? Is that good? My enclosure is a sealed one about 1.5. Any help?? Thanks!

Level match the gain using the JL audio tutorial. Turn all bass boosts/loud off.

Hey, On my Premier face it said I should have the sub control up and have my gain on the amp down, RF told me to use the bass boost on the face at like 4 out of 6 and then just turn the gain up until they max out or distort in my case bottom out like I can hear the cone of the sub and then back off the gain a tad. Anyone else advice? 1301 RMS going into the 2 2000SPL Premiers at 1ohm should be perfect I cant figure out why there bottoming out? What about low pass should I turn it down more then 70? Anyone? Thanks!

what type of enclosure do you have them in? if ported could the ssf be turned off?

There both in seperate sealed enclosures, about 1.5 air space in each box. I know the amps puttin out a lot of watts at 1ohm but since they both RMS at 750 I dont know why there bottoming out? Do you think they will like the low pass lower then 75, the T1001BD does have a 24db slope, can anyone help? Thanks

Also I did have them wired to another amp at 4ohm less powerfull amp and I had the gain at 3/4 up and it was pushing them but not to there limits now I have them both wired to the RF Power T1001BD at 1ohm and if the gains more then 1/4 just a quater up then they max out?...

Rockford Fosgate makes some serious amps... that's what i know

The new RF amps are supposed to do a lot more than they are rated for.
