PreFab Box For RE8

I was wondering if this prefab box is suitable for the re8 sub? It's made by a respectable home audio company, Onkyo, and is being sold at a very reasonable price. Also, from the images posted on the website, it seems the box is ported. However I'm not quite sure, any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Sure, give it a try for $10bux who knows could sound good. Im not sure what that hole is in the box, could be a port...?

But if you really wanted to KNOW it would sound good build your own .50cube box (tuned to 30-35Hz) for about $20 in wood, nails, and liquid nails...

You might have to mod it a little. The cut out diameter for a RE8 is 7 1/4 in. so might have to make it a little bigger.
