A proper enclosure should be built for cheap, imo.

Not a band aid at all. It can be used for more than just fill to trick the woofer into thinking its in a larger box.

You seriously think spending that much time and money to get another .07 or what it is worth it? If the OP wanted that much out of his subs he would go ported so I bet he will be perfectly happy, if not he can save himself the money an simply invert mount them...

Fair enough. A proper enclosure is a proper enclosure, I'll just leave it at that. When it comes to sealed things aren't as picky, so carry on.

That's what im saying...i have over $600 invested into my enclosure to get what I want and more $ to come in the future...a proper enclosure is everything.

Well, it isnt just 'an enclosure' it's a wall, 13.25+ cubes before woofers and ontop is a fiberglassed flared port/horn...lots of glass and work into it. If you look at my avatar that 'box' in the trunk is actually my port, going from the back seats, up through the rear deck (which has been cut out), and up ontop of the box where the 'horn' is glassed...
