PPI Art Series

My buddy has a PPI art series (I don't know the model number or any other info yet) and Iam very interested in it. The only problem with it is he says the power supply is bad. Does that make any since and if it does how hard and how much(if I can't do it myself) would it be to get it fixed. Thanks for any help.

I also found an old 100x2 PPI power class (all black with red designs on it) at a local stereo shop and the owner was only asking $100 bucks for. Its in good working order and has no real cosmetic flaws to it. Toasted power supply meands that the amp is garbage in its current state of repair. It's impossible to tell how much it would cost to fix without having someone look at it and figure out what needs to be replaced. If the power toroid is toast it could be kinda pricy.

Speaking of which, anyone know where I can get a power toroid to replace a burned one that I have in a PG MS-275?
