PPI Art Series Pro 50

Thank you for the info... But Right now I have it bridged at 1 ohm and I am not haveing any issues... Its not getting hot or anything... Is that not normal? If it is, any idea on how much it will puts out at 1 ohm mono?

Should be twice the 400, so around 800. I'm not super familiar with those amps though, so I'm not sure it is meant to be 1 ohm mono stable... I'd get a for sure answer before you leave it that way...

I have heard of guys running them down to 1/2ohm so you may be okay at 1ohm if you don't beat on it too hard. I didn't want to put that in my original post because I wouldn't want your amp to fry because I told you it would do it. It was rated at two ohms mono so anything below that may put your amp at risk of failure. If that is a risk you are willing to take, go for it.

If your question was what is so good about the Pro Arts compared to all other amps, the Art series in general were regarded as some of the best sound quality amps you could get. As has been pointed out, the diff. between the Art series and the Pro Arts was the stability at lower impedance loads.

What did you want a pic of Louisiana?

And I have been neating the hell out of it and it doesnt get warm or anything... I dont know I just figured i would try it and see what happened and it worked... so i left it. I got the amp for free so it wasn't a loss to me.
