powering subs

No. You can give them a little more than their RMS without doing damage. If they don't sound right adjust the gains properly and you should be fine. They should sound better with a little more than their RMS anyways.

thanks alot. I got the subs in the mail today and they are very sexy, im glad I made that decision, and it turns out the company is about 50 miles away from my house! I had no idea that it would ship that fast haha.

I'm not a huge fan of Xtant subs, but what ever turns your crank. They can be good if installed properly and that's a bonus the company is so close. Great for warranties and questions. Good luck, hope your happy. Keep us up to date.

xtant is MTX Sound Quality label. They are surprisingly good. But thos subs will be fine. What it really boils down to is what kind of box u are going to put them in. That is what really hurts a sub.
