Powerbass still the same?

as with many companies that were around back when, most of their newer stuff is still good just not as good as their older stuff. I have installed alot of their new stuff and everyone has been satisfied with their results.

I heard back in the day powerbass was made by the people that made Memphis. Is there new stuff at the same level today? Before, I had a PBX 15" on a Earthquake D2 and it was the most retard knock I ever had.
I do not believe Powerbase was ever made by Memphis.

Powerbase is now Powerbass.

I believe Jay Kent( formelly of eclipse) is the new tech director @ PB , and from what I understand he is in the process of overhauling the product line, to try to get the quality back to where it used to be.

^^^^

I have been emailing Jay recently in the past couple days. He seems to know what he is doing and is pretty nice. I was going to buy a powerbass amp off millionbuy.com which is not factory authorized and he said he would honor the warranty or either price match the amp at a locally at a dealer.

They are not related.

Memphis used to make a line called Powerbase, But only the name is common between them, nothing else.

My PR200 has a powerbase sticker on it. lol. On the back.
