powerbass & cadence amps

Are they any good? are they reliable? I'm looking for a 4 channel amp... saw a Cadence amp for $30.00 on ebay, and a Powerbase 600.4 on craigslist for $80.00. I don't mind spending money on a jl or alpine amp, but if I can get the same thing for a lower price why wouldn't I? I had a bad experience with a PowerAkoustic subwoofer amp, and don't feel like wasting my time. So...let me know... are theses amps worth it or is there something better that you guys recommend.

Cadence is awesome cant go wrong, im not sure about power bass though, i have been trying to figure that out myself

I had good luck out of my TXA1000D, but 99% of the people on here swear by how horrible the design is on the amps.

If it's an older PB, go that route.

powerbass isn't bad i've heard it and i've run there 3 1/2 speaks there good, amps are reliable too

I have Powerbass in my Explorer. It does the job, got a 4 channel, 2 channel and mono amp. They all have been able to put up with me for over a year.

Jason does come on here some, although I cannot remember his username.

By the way - New Daytona series from Cadence are supposed to be very very strong, underrated, clean amplifiers.

i talked to Jason on this very issue and he said that the IA series was the highest quality that Cadence had to offer besides the newest ZRS which is only a small bit better with a much higher price tag, that is all i can tell you, talk to jason yourself and ask him what is right for you, good luck =]
