Power Wire ?

I have two jl w3s and a jl 500/1 in my car and I want to add a jl e4300 amp to power my interior speakers.

What is the best way to run the power wires? Should I run two wires to the battery or should I run one and split it in the trunk? And what gauge wire should I use?

2ga to 4 ga would be ok, or just 2 runs of 4. You could even do a run of 8 for the 4 channel. Slash series 500 will NOT work properly on 8 gauge. I've seen it done (by Best Buy). We've seen it a couple of times, and both times, they had random amp shut downs, overheating, and switching to 4 ga fixed the problems for both of them. Too much power wire is never a bad thing, though.

I have 4 gauge running to the 500/1 right now. So I should add a distribution block in the trunk to split it to two 4gauge wires? Then ground both amps with 4 gauge? Can I ground them both to the same place?
