power wire?

what is a good deal on 2 awg power wire? does this look like it would do the job and is it a good price? im using it on a directed 1500d @ about 1100 watts @ 1 ohm.

If that really is true 2 gauge wire its not a bad deal. Id personally go with welding cable for the simple fact that it will be for sure 2 gauge but maybe someone will know if thats some quality wire or not?

yea i would go with welding supply as well. it may not have that crazy nice lookin insulation, but they wont jip on wire size.

I have three rolls of it and it is the correct size for 1/0 gauge.

you should run 2 guage from the battery to the fuse block/distribution box then 4 guage to the amps.

0/1 guage is better but IMO 2 guage should do you fine.

i only have one amp. in the directed audio manual it says that 4 gauge with a 90 amp fuses should be the minimal size used. im thinking of going with 2 gauge welding lead that crap is pretty big. enough for one 1200 watt amp.
