power wire from main battery to another battery

what alt amperage do you have? I would do 1/0 gauge because it'll allow your batteries to charge up faster. as for fuse, you fuse to the wire's amp rating

its a stock alt, i think maybe around 120 maybe. but would 4 guage be ok? with a 80 amp fuse?
