power wire for jbl 600.1

Is 8 guage power wire ok for the jbl 600.1 amp,or should i go for 4 guage?Right now i have 8 guage going to the amp from a distributer block,if i need a bigger wire,can i just add on another 10 or 12 to it?

you can but you are not getting the best connection. An 8 gauge is plenty just make sure you use a 30 amp fuse.

wassup wt you and this 30amp fuse thing...

i could be wrong but i believe you put the fuse close to the battery and make sure it's lower than what ur amp is pulling..

every 600 watt amp requires a 30amp fuse ask any car audio tech.
