Buy a headlight relay harness. That will help with dimming and give your output a little boost. Kinda like the big 3 for headlights.

I have a query regarding a second battery...

I’ve got power dropouts that I’ve spent months not being able to diagnose. I’ve replaced every connection, isolated components, replaced the main battery, tested other amps, headunits, however, nothing fixes the power dropouts.

When I disconnect from main battery and hookup the system to a small 12v battery the system has no dropouts.

So my question is, will a second dry cell/marine/agm battery wired in parallel to the main battery solve my dropout issue?

Yes. It will plug into your factory headlight connector and battery + and -. Pulls power directly from the battery instead of Battery-headlight switch-headlights.
