Power issues with my BL

So I have my BL w/ a p-chamfer option. I have the money for an amp but Im stuck on how much power I could send to it. Im thinking 1500 but would that be pushing it? Does anyone have an idea of the amount of increased power handling the p-chamfer option can add?

the sundown amp will be fine. Just do it and see how it sounds especially if you already have the equipment.

I push a BL thats loaded on a hifonics zeus xx which puts out a bit over 1600wrms it runs awesome

you should be good with 1500 no prob

k the sundown is a lil expensive when i totaled everything on my budget

depends on the money i come up with by friday. i can get a new bxi1606d for 239.99. i know i will have at least that much but if i get like $100 more then ill get a 2006d. as far as i know im geting a 1606d.

any other opinions on powering my BL with a bxi1606d?

Yea its not even barely gonna move with that amp.

Causing you to turn up the gain too high and the volume, which in turn would send a clipped signal to the sub which could result in some trouble.

Do it right, and save up a lil bit more and put a solid amp on that sub.
