Power & RCA Wire Feed Back

I have been reading various posts about RCAs picking up power frequencies from the power wire and causing the subs to rumble. I think this may be my problem. Both wires run together to the rear of the truck. I can take my foot and push on the floor board where the wires are located and the subs will rumble, lift my foot and it goes away. My question is someone recommended grounding the rca's, are they talking about the round outer part at the connecting plug. If so...ground it to what.. the body..

Don't ground them. Run the rca's down the opposite side of the vehicle and you'll experience no problems.

at least run them 12" apart (18-24" would be better)

Run the power wire on one side of the car, and then run the RCA on the opposite.

Thanks for the replies, What about the speaker wires coming off the amps? Should I maintain a separation between them and the rca and or power cable.

i run mine on opposite sides of the car.. no problems... best way to go
