Are power acoustik amps any good? I trying to find a good amp about 900 to 1200 watts. Looking to pay about 150 to 250 for one.

Are pioneer amps any good? I have my eyes on a Class D 1000 watt mono.

PowerAcoustik amps are pretty good bang for the buck amps. As are Lanzar Optis. I would pick either of these over a Pioneer amp though.

Power Acoustik is awesome amps. They are the best bang for the buck company. I am a firm supporter of their products even though their customer support. Although since i am a dealer if anything every craps out on me i can bring it back for a return within a year. But i have not ever have to bring anything power acoustik back.

I wasn't that impressed with the PA I had (OV4-800). Supposed to be 85x4. I seriously doubt it gets there. It was about in-line with the US acoustics 4085.

For about the same price you can get ahold of a Lanzar Vibe 430 which is significantly more powerful than the PA, especially when you bridge it, or run it at 2 ohms stereo.

The power akoustic amps will work but they are grossly overrated. (the class d amps are nice) For a cheap amp look at profile.

I have a 1200 watt class A/B PA amp, it pushes two 15" subs, wired at 8 ohm apiece, and with only a 2.5 volt input RCA, with no problem.
