Power Acoustik FUBR vs. RF P3

The FUBR is and awesome sub but alot of people had problems with the voice coils unwinding on them. I think that they got it fixed now so it is all good. I would go with the FUBR. i have heard the P3's but was not impressed with them. I think they were not worth the price tag they had on them.

Get tha power Acoustiks and wire them to a 1/2 ohm. With tha rightt wattage you will blow everybody away.

First off you got to have an amp that is 1/2 stable. And you will not blow everyone away at least not on here. Don't get me wrong they will be crazy loud but they are not going to blow everyone away.

i say get RF P3 I just do not trust power acustik.

I have 3 FUBR 10's right now in a 3.5 cubic ft. ported box tuned to 40 Hz and they are awesome. The SQ is absolutely wonderful, which of course is purely subjective, and the SPL is just retarded. I did a 150.1 db's on the dash. Barely broke the 150 mark, but they are really nasty. By the way, I am using the same A3000Db in my signature to power the 10's as I was using to power the 15.

What mic? A 150 on a properly-calibrated mic can be very, very good...

That is not a bad score what mic was it on. I am not sayign your lying but that seems a little high with only one A3000DB and 3 10's what were they wired to. But if that is yours score in all honesty, good job that is not a bad score with those.

I am 99.9% sure it was an AudioControl Mic. The peak SPL came at 46 Hz. The system is in a Mazda Protege' 5 hatch back. I am pretty sure that has something to do with why it was so loud. The woofers were wired series ([3] dual 2 ohm woofers, which resulted in [3] 4 ohm woofers) and then paralleled to the amp for a 1.33 ohm mono load. The woofers are firing towards the back of the car at approximately a 45 degree angle. I didn't use any rhyme or reason when I made the elevation block. It worked for the system in my signature, so I figured I would stick with what worked.
