and that is fine. I don't buy cars for where they are made. I just hate how half ***'d everything we americans make is. ALl of my friends own american cars. Putting a 3.8L v6 in a Malibu is stupid. NO THANKS.And japanese cars I just dont care for them.

Its not fan boying. I just like hate working on the suburban thats at the house or my fiance's chrysler.

Is it fan boying too that I don't like newer cars either. Because it is cheaper and easy for me to maintain one from 1982 and the other from 1991. And I don't have to pass emissions. Even though both cars do.

When we as americans start building a car that doesnt ****. and I am entitled to my opinion. Maybe I will try it.

listen. You are entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine. I DONT SEE WHY people have to force their opinions on someone as if theirs is the "right" one. Because I never ONCE said that european cars are better. I just said "finally something german, its german or nothing." which is my opinion. I wasn't directing it anyone personally.

and just so you know. its more than just the car. American cars in my opinion are ugly and we always put big engines in that have pathetic outputs in comparison to there size. Our 94 suburban makes 190hp. and my fiance's v6 2.7 Sebring makes 190hp. SO why is my mothers straight 6 2.8L 528i that makes 190hp faster than the Sebring?

There is honestly nothing about them that appeals to me. If I were to get an american vehicle. I would get a suburban or a dodge cummins.

And to be honest. Even though I like european cars. I am never going to go buy a new one. I don't like the direction that new cars have taken. I like how simple the old ones are. I just did the head gasket on my jetta. And I had the had off the car and completely disassembled in an hour and a half. When my brother did the head gasket on the suburban. COMPLETELY different story. and the head work for a 97 bmw...wow. that was WAY over my head.

I am young. only 21. I need easy cars to work on and learn.

I havent bothered to read all your posts... but your trashing vehicles and acting like you know alot but you really have to ask this question?? Just cuz one car has 190hp and another does too doesnt mean they will be equally fast. From major things like Torque and weight to other things like tires, gearing, etc.... make them different. You should know that by the way youve been talking.

Here is two of my 3 daily drivers. I also have a 2000 jeep Cherokee and the wife has a bugeye Wrx.

1997 civic ex JDM b16 swap with cams and light bolt ones. Starting on suspension now. Have control arms sway's and tie bars custom springs built by my autocrosser buddy and koni yellows.
