I hasnt graduated yet, but for one, I'm moving out of MI asap.
amen to that, we had a speaker at school yesterday and when she asked who was staying in MI after graduation about 25 people out of 300 raised their hands. when she asked who was leaving almost everyone raised their hands. haha

jr in college now. really trying to land an internship this summer because i havnt really done shit yet.

hopefully if i land an internship that might help me land a job after graduating, then ill probably work and eventually go back for my masters. but if i stay (and get accepted) i can get my masters in my 5th year (if i get accepted)

engineering btw

Here's the absolute truth. Upon graduating and getting into the working world, I found that I don't use 70% of what I was taught and I even got into the same field (manufacturing engineering).
70%? I graduated in the same field. Got a job as a design engineer. I think I use about 5-10 (maybe 15)% of what I went through.

I enjoy my job though.

You're not going to end up in business administration anyways, probably end up a corporate mid level *******, then you can have a wife who's mrs. mid level *******.

j/k man, you think we know wtf we're doing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

It really does just all kinda fall together, maybe not in a good way but just kinda happens. You gotta keep moving and keep your head above water, otherwise you can get swept away pretty easy. As I look back my school really wasn't anything like the typical college life. I spent nearly 16-18 hours a day on school work (closed down the library at 10pm nearly everynight from sophomore year on) and when I had a free chance I was working a part time job to pay some bills. My school pushed the work and also had a program they called Co-op, you had an option of doing it in the summer semester between sophmore and junior year, and then after that there were two mandatory semesters of co-op. Basically its a semester where you work in a position relevent to your field. By the time we graduated everyone has a full resume with at least 2 very credible positions and at least for people in my major if you didn't have a job before you graduated you just didn't want one.

I guess in short, internships help out BIG time, as well as if you have a job placement office on campus stay in touch with them and try and talk with alumni or higher ups and see. Also least for me professors can be a great asset at landing jobs.

I took civil engineering, and really use maybe 20% of what I learned, had to use 150% of what I learned to pass the FE exam but what matters is I passed.

If you keep your nose to the grindstone with work and keep your ears open for oportunities you should be pretty good.

I forgot about 0.5 g of dro thats been in my room for 2 months. It looks like there is a small, small, tiny *** bit of white on it. could this be mold or fungi? and would a small amount hurt me? i know its not supposed to be good for u, but would this tiny *** spot hurt? or should i just match with someone else and not really hit the weed i brought and just hit off what they brought?
