Post quote notifications

Why do I get them when I quote someone else? And that only happens if I have an unread post quote notification where someone else quoted me.

A shitload of people have that problem, and it's brought up here:http://www.caraudio.com/forums/forum-news-bug-reporting-usage-questions/543953-cant-get-past-certain-page.html. It drives me fucking crazy, too.
