It's in the back of my 01 explorer. I can fit 3 31's under the shelf and il have my amps up top. This setup could work in about any suv. The only thing I didn't like was that it took away 10" from the depth of my cargo area but I have kids and don't want wandering hands to touch any thing exposed. Even the amps inputs will have plexy glass over them.

The 12v system won't hurt them....

You can touch power and ground with your bare hands and it doesn't do anything

Yea I know ive done it before holding volt meters and other stuff. But it's good practice to teach them not to touch anything that could harm them. Just a precaution nothing else also makes it looks clean in my opinion.
