Poor POS subs... they are the same sub, they were packaged together, but one is all chromed and has nice screwdown connectors... the other... (not that the chrome matters, but I wish it had screwdown connectors...)

My original prefab (ick) box was a bandpass, and one was inverted. Inverted sub is the "pretty" one and the other had the gasket because it was cone-out. Like I said, POS sub...

Just got to figure out what I want...

My current strange Idea: wall off the trunk and put in 5 subs.

2 ported RE8s @60hz

2 ported RE8s @100hz

1 ported RE12 @20 hz

I'm still looking for amps to make that work... something that's class D. Hifonics, prolly. I'd throw in active crossovers and subsonic filters to get a +/- 20hz range for the 8's and 20-40hz for the 12. It's strange, I know.

Or I might go "normal" and put in two RE12s off a decent amp.

The kenwood deck is a great choice, if i might ad. i love mine to death. As for the subs, either the 12 or the 8's tuned to 60...imo

I too love my ancient Kenwood... but alas, it is dying. Oddly enough my car had 3 pairs of RCAs in it when purchased, so a 925 would fit right in
