whatever you get it's gonna be loud in there. my friend has a 01 gti with 2 cadence 12's on a SPL1000 amp and it hits pretty good

my first system was a sony amp with 2 10'' infinity references...people shit their pants when they heard it,probably running 200 watts and no one believed it was so loud (only thing i did different was build a box)

so yes 2 10's are more than capable of being loud

1) Why do you care what other people prefer?

2) And why, are you asking those said people whether or not certain speakers will be enough?

Last I checked, you're the one going to live with it on a daily basis, why not ask your self those questions?
