possible to run bx1500d below one ohm?

hifonics struggle to run at 1 ohm let alone go under 1 ohm.

Everything I read about this particular amp was that it's misrated at anything ABOVE 1 ohm, and that "If you're going to use it, use it at 1 ohm"

Also apparently the manual differs from the box which differs from the website which differs from what the techs say, when it comes to 4 and 2 ohm ratings; but 1 ohm remains the same;

i agree. be sure to have your video camera rolling as we want to see the thing self destruct and all the smoke billowing out of the amp. keep a fire extinguisher (god **** i really butchered that word) handy just in case things get out of hand

uhhh, i've been running mine at a .75 ohm load for about 2 months now, no problems whatsoever. i dont see where yall are getting ur information from, other than the fact that hifonics is sort of frowned upon by some ppl on this forum.

Impedence will rise once the subs are in the box, will vary with frequency and will rise as the VC gets hotter (along with other variables). You may just be "lucky" because your amp rarily sees below 1ohm. But generally I would advise against trying it.
