Positioning my Tower speakers (help)

Can you solve it?
I bought a pair of Athena WS-100's not to long ago. I love them, they sound great but I can't get the soundstage right. Here is basically the problem. They are seperated by a long stand, my chair that I sit in is in a corner. There is no way to evenly space the speakers from the chair. Are there any tricks to getting the speakers time aligned (I don't have the option on my pre-amp) or any other tricks that I can use? I can get a picture of the setup if needed with the room.

Basically its

Sony PS1 for the cd player>Harmon-kardon pre-amp>Integra amplifier to the speakers and a sub.

Thanks for any help //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I thought about moving the chairs around, but it will really kill my wives layout of the room.

I'll have to look for time alignment in a pre-amp I suppose.
