porting my box

ok im starting on my box for my 3 15 inch k's, the box is like 13.3 cubic feet b4 displacement so i figured after displacement itll be like 11.5 or so, so i was wondering if any one of yall thats got a calucator for tuning it to make sure i got this right, ok i figured up with a box that is 11.5 cubic feet, tuned to 33hz, that if i have a port that is 5.5 inches by 25 inches, has a length of 7.41 inches am i right??? i wanna make sur b4 i build the box

thats the exact same calculator i was using, i was justing making sure it wasnt wrong

on winisd with 11.5 ft^3 I get 5.5x25 and 19.78 long? To tune the box to 33hz. Does your program subtract sub(s) and port displacement?

With the port 7.41 long I'm getting a tuning freq. between 43 and 44?

well i subtracted the displacment myself, i dont know i typed 33hz 11.5 cubic feet, and then 25x5.5 and then i got 7.41, so 19.78 is right???

I'm not saying I'm right????? Thats just the #'s I came up with. I think you better get somebody else to try it and see what they come up with. Who knows.....maybe were both wrong

well i started my box tonight, its 7.41 inches long, ill find out if i did it wrong as soon as i start to play it
