I'm about to order 2 L7 12 dual 4 ohms and they come with a free 2.7 cubed sealed box. I figured since it comes free I'd use that but since this will be my first system I want to do it right. I've been thinking really hard about getting a ported box but the only thing is I really dont have much room. I know this will be a half *** install but the box is gonna be sitting on the back seat of my truck(crew cab tacoma). I want to order a TCAB but I dunno if I will have room for it. Here's my question, would a 3 or 4 cubed ported box be enough for my 2 l7s? And, would I lose much SQ going from sealed to ported?
