Ported Or Sealed Facing Rear???

i have a chevy tahoe and was thinking about doing 2 or 3, 12"s facing the rear?? im not looking for spl or very loud, im looking for deep low long bass sound. i listen too rap only. please help any info. i have a kicker zx2500.1 for power. what subs anb box type $800 budget

why does everyone think that rap has low bass, country music has lower bass frequencies. a box tuned to 33hz for an FI sub is more than enough for someone that only listens to rap or even an AQ or DD tuned to 38hz even.

btw not to be judgemental but if you only listen to rap, you're probably lying about the "not looking for spl or very loud" part.

Get a few of the copper coil HDC3's and tune to the upper 30's.

I think you just need to get of the 12s and go with something like a 2 15s or 1 18 to get those "low" notes.

I just relized that you are running two threads lol.

Most rap is 35+hz. You sound like an SPL guy to me. Just tune higher.

Jerry it depends on the song. some have higher and some have lower notes. do 2 18" AQ's. you heard sleepy's setup.
