Ported or Sealed box for Re Mx 18

Hey everyone i have a re mx 18 , i am wanting to make a box for. It is dual 1 ohm 1500 watts rms. I am currently running 600 watts to it on stock electrical cause my amp is only 600 watts at 2 ohm.

Ok so here is what i need help with. i am wanting to build a box for it but dont know what to do sealed or ported. The box has to fit in a 1998 ford explorer sport 2 door and a 2001 impala trunk. Also if ported is the way to go what is the hz should be tuned to beccuase i am eventaully going to pick a audioque 2200d up and im guessing it will run about 1300 rms . So what do u think the best way to go for box is and if its ported what about the hz.

i would go with ported and tuned between 30 to 35 , going to be hard to fit a ported box for that in a trunk though

IN my opionion its bad to say but i owned 2 RE mx 12s and i built a ported box for them and they sounded like crap in my opinion so then i build a seal box and sounded way way better. I hate sealed boxes but with those subs in my own experience they sounded better sealed.
