Ported Box Volume for a 13.5" Subwoofer

I want to buy two JL Audio 13W3v3-2 subs, but I need to construct my own box for it. The recommended ported box volume per subwoofer is 2.5 cubic feet for rated performance. I followed my own calculations and found out that if I had the ported box volume at 1.75 cubic feet per subwoofer, it will have a bass response of approximately 37Hz at -3dB. I don't know much about ported boxes, but as far as I know this sounded good to me. If two subwoofers share the same port in a box, will it affect the box frequency?

You have roughly 50 liters total, which will probably work with that sub.
