ported box that hard?

well im getting a 15 xxx and i've never built a ported box, ive always had a kicd at school make boxes, but i haven't been to happy and when i go back to meeasure they dont seem quite accurate to what he told me it was. So i just wanted to kno it making a ported box that hard of an undertaking or could i probably do it, i've already researched how to design themand have design numerous boxes as practice, o want the best sealent you guys say is usually silicone based?

not hard with the right tools.

design the box you want. measure twice, cut once. be sure to brace it (and account for the brace volume). not very hard. just take your time.

oh, and start out with a circular saw, jigsaw, and drill (with screw driver bits too). You'll be fine

Its not a walk in the park however you will appreciate it more than you will a prefab. Good luck and enjoy
