Ported Box Questions

Well the box i got right now is a single slot ported box built for a L7 so they say.

Its tuned to 38 hz.(This is not so good... so i hear) I also noticed when i play a song like for ex: Weatherman by: Jim Jones my high bass notes are over the top. My low bass is loud but i dont feel the pressure i want to feel. Well i guess my noob question is, Does my 38hz tuned box cut it? .

Would this box fix my problem?

Well, seeing that it is tuned lower, it may help.

But from my experiance L7's like higher tuned boxes between 35-40

That enclosure will definitely give you more low end and will cut back on the higher bass notes.

That weatherman song has an attenuated low end recorded in anyways so you may also be experiencing that.
