Ported box for a 12" SX

Well the SE I was getting turns out to be the wrong VC config so I ended up buying a 12" SX from a member on here and will start building the box tomorrow.

I sent a email to RE and I was told the box should be 2.5ft @ 30 Hz for SQ and 2.5ft @ 35Hz for SQL.

I do want the sub to sound good at lower levels but get deep at higher volumes. Am I ok with using 2.5 @ 35Hz for that or should I tune differently?

id do 32 or 33 personally...i love moving air though..

i have 2 re sx 12's and greg from RE gave me plans for 4 cbft 4 in port i think it was at 38hz. great for metal not good for anything else so going to redo the box at around 2.5 per sub at 35hz

So the lower the tuning the lower the lows right?
