Ported box for 15" Ascendant Avalanche

Hey guys, I'm trying to put together a ported box for an Avalanche 15"

I'd like to know if this is a big enough box for it:

3.672 Cu Ft NET (before sub displacement, after port displacement)

Port dimensions:15.875 x 3.375" (53.5" port area)

43.35" long port (including 1/2 port width for inside of box)

Should be tuned to 28.2 Hz.

- Big enough box?

- Enough port area?

- Tuning calculations correct?

to small of an enclosure.. you will be well below 3ft3 after all displacements.

The only displacement that isn't accounted for is the sub. Mostly because I'm thinking about inverting the sub anyway.

I *did* account for the port volume. The box's internal volume is 5.292 cuft before any displacement.

How much net volume are you thinking is needed/best?

Ah, its early. I suppose I didn't read that well enough haha....

Just off of rough calculations I think you are ok with that design.

I've ran a box for that sub around that size. Should sound good and go low.
