man im in the same boat, thinking, and i repeat thinking of a type r 15", but have no idea what they like for size and tuning. plus i like the lows. 35hz, down to 25hz, you know the gut wrench lows, that you still hear. i am interested to know if in any box a 15" typre r will perform in that area. right now, i am leaning toward a diamond d915d2 sub, with a ed 9.1. i like sq just as much as spl, but i am more of a sq fan. i dont go to any comps, or haven't for the last ten years(ive been focusing on other things), but i want a system that can hit every note, and still sound amazing at 140+ dbs.
