ported and non ported

typically, you would get a flatter frequency response sealed. But I would rather get a low tuned ported box. All of the SQ, 2x the output. Also, with a ported enclosure, you could easily get away with running just one amp rather than two.

so i could run 1 1000/1 to 4 of the 13's in a ported box.

I think SS did not see that you are running 2 pairs of subs... For four of those babies, I would run both amps regardless. Also, having 2 seperate boxes, both tuned differently, or one sealed and one ported, would not sound all that good... If you have room, wall them off.

wait... I just understood what your saying. You have 4 of these subs, and you want to run 2 sealed, and 2 ported. Not a good idea. If you can make the room, port all 4 and run them off two amps. If you dont have the room, seal them all, I guaruntee you it will still be loud.

Im debating weather to buy 1 more 1000/1 .Im running out off cash.will the amp still drive 4 13's in a ported box and bump hard and just buy the other amp on down the road.
hell 1 of those amps will run all 4 subs nicely, let alone two. I think your underestimating the power of 1000 watts. 3 1000/1's are overkill for your subs and electrical system.
