Port????

Ok I just ordered subs so now I need help with the port. I just bought 2 BTL 12's. My box will be 6 cubes after displacements. I need help with slot port and flared aeros cause I don't know which ones I will be using yet. I want to tune to 33htz. Someone please help me. I will have 96 sq inches of port with the slot port but how long? With flared aeros I have no idea what size, how many, or how long.

Ok where can I buy black 6" pvc from? I looked at parts express and their flared aeros are only 17" long. I was just going to buy pvc and then buy the flares

good question....i just make my own out of MDF, my Jasper Jig and a roundover bit

not easy to describe without pics....basically you take a small piece of mdf and cut 1 hole in it the size of the OD of the PVC and glue on. Then you glue that piece to another piece that covers the end of the PVC. Then drill a hole through the cover piece and use the router and a flush trim bit and router the ID of the PVC. Then use a roundover bit to "flare" the MDF....do that to both ends.

Do you do it to the outside too or just the inside? Or does it even matter? Also the length you gave me on the port length will that be the length minus the wood the way you do it?
