Couldn't you just take your box that has subs up and ports back flip and then have subs forward and ports up to try it out?

this is for a different set up. not my 18's box... but i think im just gonna go with subs up ports up. if that dont sound good then ill go with subs up ports back

alright. so with these 15's you think i should try the subs firing towards the windshield and then a slot port firing up at the furthest back of the box?? so almost like a wall except its not sealed off and the port is firing up? just wanna make sure i got it right??
