Port placement questions!

Well, I have the box all put together come to find out the 3" Ports I ordered are too big with the flanges (6.25") to all fit on one side of the box! So I would like to know if thew can be placed as shown in the pictures below:

I would also like to know if this will change anything as far as how the box sounds ect.

 
it doesnt look like you have a choice.

you could try to use two 4 " ports instead of three 3 inch ports.

you could try to get all three on the side opposite the driver. two up top and one slightly lower in the middle and cut a hole thats angled so the port clears the hump by the time it gets to the middle. you can get ceative with a wood file.

its kind of ghetto and more of a last resort deal but i doubt anyone will see it since its going under your rear seats.

 
I thought about having all 3 on 1 side, but each flare end is like 6.25" and that will make it too much even if istaggered the port in the middle.

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...
