Port on front, back, top, or side?

Wheres the best place to put a port, or does it matter? I've heard putting the port on the least obstructed side is best, and in this case would be the top(though all sides are unobstructed really). Any suggestions? Box is built, silicone has cured, and it's almost show time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif . Also, I'm thinking of putting the ports(2 3" ports) on the front, right between the subs. Bad idea?

Most people say the same side where the subs are facing...

I say whatever side would work, so long as there are no obstructions.

I also think that most soundwaves will be from the port, so it could be either the rear or the top, cause that's what most people seem to find the best placement for subs to face.

depends on ride and if this is for daily or for the lanes.

the CRX box has subs up and ports to the rear.

this can be used for many hatchbacks and some SUV's for the lanes.
