yeah I can only use the top 8" box rear for port area and subs come down a little over 7" so need to put ports in between them or something.

I'm also worried if I do it that way with short port length the Sub being right next to opening of port might cause a problem.

I've never tested it, but I believe that might cause port noise if the sub is too close to the entrance of the port on the inside.

Has anyone ever angled the ports? So they aren't at a 90* in the box.

Hmm. Do you have enough room for a square port? I think it'd be easier in your case.

U will need two 6" ports as two 4" will only provide you with about 5.5 per cube. Which even with aeros is too little port area.

Otherwise A slot port would work. Run down back wall and across bottom, with exit 8" below top

2 6's for 2 12 type R's? No way... A 6" is plenty. You don't need as many sq inches of port per cube than a regular slot port...
