port locations

I'm in the process of getting a ported box made and looking for input on location of port/ports.

This will be going into a hatchback and wont be room to face them back.

Here is a pic of what the box will kinda look like. I'm thinking about swapping out ports for comps also

I would face them rear, and I would drop them down to the bottom of the box, not in the middle.

yes sub facing up. I'm sketching some plans now for port rear facing, but it would be 4" from the top (center of port) and could only 15" long

I'm thinking 2 4" ports might fit a little better....

I can either do 1 6" port in center of box in between both subs

1 6" on left side with both subs tight to right

or 2 4" ports. One on left sire rear and another on right side with sub tight in center

2 4" ports would be slightly less port area, but also less length....something to think about.
