Port length tuning with limited space

Hi guys hopefully you can help me out here. Recently blew up my 15" sub, and instead of replacing it I may go down another line; my boot can fit a box of dimensions 1300x350x350, pretty standard large sedan size. Seeing as I have access to another vehicle I don't really need any boot room, so I might just fill it up with a 4x12.

Would it be possible to have a ported 4x12 box of this size and tune it just by altering port length? Was thinking about doing a side port, as I would have plenty of length to play with for tuning there. Never built a ported box before, so any thoughts much appreciated.

I would definitely suggest a custom design by one of us on here for you. If you want to alter tuning, that can be done pretty easily. PM any of us vendors that do designs for more information. I mention this because for what you are asking for, simple advice will not be sufficient for your situation unless someone is willing to help you do a design for free. Hope this helps!
