Port distance from rear hatch

What about port/ports up or forward.Subs up or forward?
You introduce phasing issues no matter what. It depends on your car what phasing issues are the worst. Usually with a hatch, it provides the LEAST cancellation provided that you find your sweet spot on distance from it. That is what we are looking to do... MINIMIZE cancellation. How many people can honestly explain why a ported enclosure loses output below tuning?

Using deductive reasoning, is it because of cancellation? Lol, but explain. I'd love to know. Get into as much detail as possible.

Can you, or someone, explain this?

I'm still kinda confused on why you want port back. Wouldnt that create more flex in vehicle causing a lower SPL reading?
