if i build an angled box 6 at top 8 at bottom can i put the port on the angled side and if so how do i figure out the port at the angle from shortest or longest point or do i figure it the same as a angle on a box and will i create noise

you either have to use a port that is less than the depth of the enclosure (which probably won't work since it's so shallow) or get a flexible port. i've said it before and i'll say it again: porting wedge shaped boxes through any face but the top is a huge pain in the ass and should be avoided at all costs.

I ported my truck box at the top as well.
