Port conversion chart?

Is there a chart for cnverting a cylindrical port to slotted?I am limited by space behind a truck seat and will be unable to run a cylindrical port.

Can the port be run out the top of the box if the subs are firing forward?Are there any downfalls to running it there?

There's no problem with an external port.
