Popping sound

Every time i change songs i hear a thump from my sub. it doesnt come out of the speakers just the sub. Also, when i turn the volume on the HU all the way down it still does some random thumping sound coming from the sub every once in a while, even when there's no music coming out.

What could this be? i know for sure the amp is wired right. I checked the ground, and its solid. Could it be a speaker wire problem? or a ground in the HU possibly?

My setup is in my sig. what could the problem be?

well i think i figured out what was causing the sound. I took my HU out and whenever i wiggle the rca's it makes the same thumping sound i was hearing.

Do i have faulty rca's? or is it something internally?

To answer your question:

It very possibly could be your RCA's. Try another set of RCA's. That may not be the problem, but it sounds like it could be too. Good luck man!
